USCAP’s Diagnostic Pathology Update in San Juan, Puerto Rico, July 20-25, 2014 was a dynamic panorama of new information presented by charismatic thought leaders focusing on practice improvement and the union of molecular pathology with surgical pathology. It appealed to the eclectic audience of academic and practicing pathologists, pathologists-in-training, and faculty. 152 registrants included pathologists from the USA, Canada, Puerto Rico, Aruba, Australia, Dominican Republic, Great Britain, Italy, Lebanon, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia and South Africa. The oceanside resort setting was ideal for pathologists accompanied by families and the intimacy of the venue encouraged professional and cultural exchange. This conference was organized by Dr. Wendy Frankel and Dr. Henry Tazelaar who was presented with a congratulatory plaque as he completed his tenure as course director.
The next Diagnostic Pathology Update is scheduled July 18-24, 2015, at the Hilton Waikoloa Village in Hawaii.
