Ramzi Cotran Young Investigator Award

and the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology

The Ramzi Cotran Young Investigator Award was established by Council to recognize a body of investigative work which has contributed significantly to the diagnosis and understanding of human disease. The award will consist of a plaque and $5,000. The awardee does not have to be present at the meeting, and funds for travel are not included

Nominees for the 2014 Ramzi Cotran Young Investigator Award must have been born in 1969 or later. They also must have been members of the USCAP, in good standing, for at least one year prior to receiving the award

Please electronically submit each of the following to annette@uscap.org:

  1. Application form which has been completed and signed by the applicant
  2. Curriculum Vitae of the applicant
  3. Letter from a nominating sponsor (not necessarily a member of USCAP) outlining the nominee’s qualifications for the award
  4. Supporting letter from an additional sponsor who must be a member of the USCAP


Electronic submission of all of the above items must be sent to annette@uscap.org by October 11, 2013.

Notification & Presentation:
Awardees will receive notification in November 2013. The award will be presented at the business meeting on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 during the USCAP Annual Meeting in San Diego, CA.
