4:50 Questions and Discussion
The topic was chosen during an open discussion of topics by the membership at the previous meeting. Though another preliminary topic had been tentatively selected by the executive committee, upon recognition of the historic 100th meeting for 2011, the membership decided to explore the foundation of the Academy given the society's fundamental interest in the history of pathology and the lack of knowledge of most of the members about many of the Academy's roots. The objective of the program is to expand on the beginnings of the Academy through exploring some details on some of its key founders.
