Clinical History
This 52 year old woman with a 60 pack year smoking history underwent a right upper lobectomy for a 3.1 cm adenocarcinoma. The slide presented is a random section from the non-neoplastic lung parenchyma. No abnormalities were noted on chest CT other than the mass. The patient complained of mild dyspnea on exertion.
