  2. Recognize artifacts in gastrointestinal biopsies that may complicate interpretation.
  3. Understand the cytomorphologic and immunohistochemical features that can be used to distinguish hepatocellular carcinoma from metastasis in fine needle aspiration specimens of the liver.
