These recommendations are first presented to the Executive Board and then to the full membership for approval. The goals of this program are: 1) Present the new classification of acute and chronic rejection of the lung allograft proposed by ISHLT. 2) describe the morphologic manifestations of lung injury in non-pulmonary allografts focusing primarily on graft versus host disease. 3) Provide a clinician's perspective on management of lung transplant recipients and other recipients of allograft organs.
