These two tools have significantly impacted the practice of surgical pathology as we know it today. Both are essential for the establishment and dissemination of standards of practice in surgical pathology. Topics are chosen because they cover important historical events, practices or people that have implications on how pathology is practiced or taught in the present. Some topics have important historical or cultural merit. The topics and speakers are chosen by the current president of the society. |
