In accordance with ACCME guidelines regarding disclosure, the USCAP policy requires that faculty members who have a significant financial or other relationship with a commercial company, entity, or service (which will be discussed in this Symposium) must disclose this to attendees. The Academy also requires that speakers disclose any products that are not labeled for the use under discussion. Dr. Christopher L. Corless indicated he is a consultant and receives grant/research support for Novartis Pharma. Dr. Corless also has other financial interest in Pfizer (Consultant) and Transgenomic (Consultant). All other faculty members for this Symposium have indicated they have no disclosures to make.

Topics are proposed and then selected by the Society's officers considering timeliness as well as
impact over bone and soft tissue tumor pathology practice. In consideration of the recent conceptual
evolution, special attention is given to the integration of conventional morphology with molecular
genetics. This meeting will therefore include some of the more recent developments in bone and soft
tissue pathology, trying to link both conventional and molecular diagnostic practice to both
prognostication and prediction of response to treatment. |
