| The American West was inhabitated for centuries before the arrival of the Europeans. Archeological
excavations revealed how these primitive societies lived in a sometimes hostile environment. This
symposium will detail the health of different populations and areas of the American West. The
Paleopathological studies of the human remains will reveal which diseases these populations encountered. |
