In accordance with ACCME guidelines regarding disclosure, the USCAP policy requires that faculty members who have a significant financial or other relationship with a commercial company, entity, or service (which will be discussed in this Symposium) must disclose this to attendees. The Academy also requires that speakers disclose any products that are not labeled for the use under discussion. Dr. Mark H. Stoler indicated he is a consultant for Merck, Qiagen, Ventana and Roche Molecular. Dr. Kevin Halling indicated he receives royalties from Abbott Laboratories for sale of UroVysion and LAVysion probe sets that are used to detect bladder cancer and lung cancer, respectively, in cytologic specimens. In addition, Dr. Kevin Halling receives grant funding from Abbott Labs (Abbott Molecular) for development of FISH assays. All other faculty members for this Symposium have indicated they have no disclosures to make.
