Topics are proposed and then selected by the Society’s officers considering timeliness as well as impact over bone and soft tissue tumor pathology practice, trying to avoid overlap with topics discussed in previous meetings. The integration of conventional morphology with molecular genetics represents one of the major recent advances in the field of bone and soft tissue pathology. This meeting will focus upon the clinical impact of molecular genetics and will try to elucidate how new techniques can be currently used in order to improve diagnosis, prognostic stratification and therapeutic planning.
