All concurred that specific problem areas of liver pathology addressed by speakers known to be highly knowledgeable in each area would be sought. The objectives are to educate the attendees regarding diagnostic problems and new diagnostic techniques in well-differentiated hepatocellular tumors, new developments in the clinical and pathologic features of autoimmune liver disease, iron storage disorders, diabetes mellitus and fatty liver disease.
