Join this timely, critical discussion of issues that affect business practices in surgical pathology. You'll gain valuable insights about changes in business and regulation that will affect your bottom line.

Following this program, you will be able to:
1) Apply effective compliance and billing practices in surgical pathology.
2) Recognize important factors in remaining legally compliant.
Employ competitive business strategies.
3) Recommend business practices to pathology organizations to help combat this threat.

The members of the ASCP Annual Meeting Committee identified the need for pathologists to be cognizant of the controversies and compliance issues affecting pathology today. These controversial "gray areas of compliance" of irregular business practices are beginning to erode the profession and practice of surgical pathology. As such, the ASCP Companion Society course was developed to increase awareness, to help recognize and to combat unprofessional business practices.
