USCAP Statement Regarding Conflict of Interest
Course Learning Objectives
| This course is designed to provide updated, pragmatic, problem-solving information for practicing anatomic pathologists. It will focus on the resolution of diagnostic pitfalls in an array of difficult areas of surgical pathology. The course is intended to provide a pleasant, informal atmosphere for learning as well as opportunities for one-on-one interaction with the outstanding faculty. Time will be allowed for questions and answers. Continental breakfast is provided for registrants and there is a reception for registrants and accompanying persons.
Participants will enjoy the history and elegance of down-town Boston, one of the oldest cities in the United States and considered to be the capital of New England. Guests of the Marriott Long Wharf provides breathtaking views of the Boston Harbor, and attendees will enjoy the easy access to the historic Long Wharf and downtown Boston, as well as being within a block from Faneuil Hall Marketplace and Quincy Market, and minutes from the Boston Common and Museum of Science.
CERTIFICATES OF CME/SAM CREDIT OR PARTICIPATION
The United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
AMA Credit Designation Statement
The USCAP designates this live activity for a maximum of 16 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
The American Medical Association has determined that physicians not licensed in the US who participate in this CME activity are eligible for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
Health Professional participants may claim hours to receive a Certificate of Participation for an activity designated for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
An online evaluation must be completed prior to claiming CME credit for this activity. The evaluation form and CME claim forms can be accessed through the USCAP website after completion of the activity.
Self-Assessment Module Credits
The USCAP is also accredited by the American Board of Pathology to offer Self-Assessment Modules (SAMs) for the purpose of meeting the American Board of Pathology requirements for Maintenance of Certification. Registrants must take and pass the post-test with a minimum performance level of 80% correct in order to claim SAM credits.

Refunds of fees, less $50 administrative fee, will be made until April 16, 2012. Refunds after that date will be subject to a 50% penalty, but registrants will receive course materials.
