You will see an enormous amount of pathology-based educational materials for your use for free – approximately 70,000 pages, 100's thousands of up-to-date references, 10's of thousands of illustrations, tables, graphs, and cartoons.....

All of the USCAP's Annual Meeting's 26 Companion Societies and 19 evening Specialty Conference Handouts for the past 6-7 years are available. In addition, over 70 Short Courses are also included.

All educational materials are searchable via a Table of Contents, organized by the 25+ organ systems/subspecialties of pathology. At present there are over 2000 different educational modules for your use. This includes text, diagrams, tables, references and beautiful images.

All of the cutting-edge Scientific Abstracts presented for the past 3 years (approximately 5000) are searchable by topic, disease, technology, author, etc.

Also find the hundred educational offerings (Slide Seminars, Short Courses, Symposia, Long Courses) from 2006's IAP Centennial Congress held in Montreal. The Slide Seminars and selected Short Courses include more than 260 Virtual (Light Microscopic) Slides as well.

In addition, you can search these free educational offerings by Key Word Search (An Index of thousands of medical/pathology terms), or by year of presentation at the Academy's Annual Meeting.

Just look under the Bulletin of the right side of our USCAP Homepage (www.uscap.org) for "Educational Materials". You will see the Table of Contents and Search Key Words in red.

All of these educational materials can be printed out and retained (from anywhere, anytime) for your future use.

The USCAP Virtual Slide Box with its 500+ virtual slides categorized by organ system by world experts, with extensive accompanying text and references, can be accessed either as "unknowns" to test your diagnostic skills (with or without clinical histories) or by the "listing of diagnoses".

The 71 ended Short Courses have been presented by recognized educators and provide a wealth of take-home diagnostic clues on dozens of organ systems and topics. In addition, you may watch videos of the presentations from Plenary Lectures (some with PowerPoint slides included) from the past three years.

The Knowledge Hub for Pathology® : The Pathology Portal

The International Academy of Pathology and its Divisions Worldwide

David F. Hardwick - 2012

The International Academy of Pathology in its second century continues to serve the educational needs of Pathologists worldwide. The USCAP and other IAP Divisions present educational programs to meet the personal and locally defined needs of their members. Each of the 45 IAP Divisions, operating in its own area provides programs to meet Pathologists needs. A biennial IAP Congress is approved by Council to assure proposals from IAP Divisions to meet locally defined needs and to attract the appropriate mix of local and global expert Pathologist presenters.

The USCAP has hosted The Knowledge Hub for Pathology for a decade and provides the most current, authenticated and validated iterative knowledge to members worldwide. A decade ago in its first year the web site had 2.2 million hits. In 2011, the site received 74million hits from an average of more than 20,000 unique visitors/Pathologists per month from 163 countries. The Knowledge Hub has been joined by 15 IAP Division websites to provide the world’s most comprehensive source of current Pathology Knowledge.
