Dr. Adam Bagg is Director of Hematology at the University of Pennsylvania where he is a Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, in the Division of Hematopathology. For the past seven years he was voted by his peers as one of Philadelphia’s Top Doctors. Per US News & World Report he is in the top 1% of doctors in the United States. He has served on the USCAP Board of Directors and Education Committee. He lectures extensively nationally (at USCAP, ASCP, AMP, CAP, ACLPS, AACC, ISLH and ASH) and internationally (Germany, Northern Ireland, India, China, South Korea, Singapore, South Africa, Brazil, Lebanon, Canada, Scotland, Mexico, Sudan, Turkey, Romania, Iran and Australia). Most of his more than 160 publications are on the molecular pathology of hematologic malignancies. A publication that he co-authored (CART19 T-cells to treat CLL) was the most downloaded article in Science Translational Medicine for 2011. He is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Molecular Diagnostics and on the Editorial Board of Advances in Anatomic Pathology.
